It is a highly complex military and political board wargame that re-creates one of the longest, most complex, and least understood conflicts in US history in all of its military and political aspects. The game was first published by Victory Games in 1984, less than a decade after the end of the war. It has since been re-released in a second edition and a GMT edition.
