Titanic: The Board Game
Titanic: The Board Game is a board game published by Universal Games in 1998, based on the sinking of the Titanic. The game was commercially popular and sold 300,000 units, becoming one of the top five selling games at Toys “R” Us that year. A reprint was released in 2012 to coincide with the centennial of the sinking. The game was designed by Sandra Gentry and Valen Brost.
Gameplay Mechanics
The game is played by six players taking the roles of six fictitious passengers aboard the RMS Titanic. Players move around the board, collecting items to move up to the First Class areas towards the lifeboats. The first player to reach the lifeboats wins, and the remaining survivor with the most money may be the second-place winner.
