How To Setup Tahiti
Setting up Tahiti is straightforward. The game begins with the placement of 7 starting tiles in the center of the table, including the double-sided home island tile, starting island tiles, and water tiles. The configuration varies depending on the number of players: for a 3-player game, there are 3 water and 3 island tiles, while for 2 or 4 players, there are 4 island tiles and 2 water tiles. The Haumea pawn is placed on the home island, and each surrounding island is equipped with 2 goods cubes. Each player selects a colored canoe and matching player board and receives a random Favorite Foods tile. The remaining goods cubes are placed in a draw bag.
