How To Setup Sushi Dice

To set up Sushi Dice, stack all the Sushi Platter cards face-down to the side. Lay three cards face-up in the middle of the table and place the bell where everyone can reach it. The oldest player selects an opponent for the first duel, with each player taking 6 dice of different colors.

Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective

Simultaneous Play: Two players roll their dice simultaneously to match the symbols on one of the three face-up Sushi Platter cards.

Dice Management: Players can set aside or reroll any number of dice at any time without announcing their target platter.

Wild Symbol: The Star die face acts as a wild symbol, replacing any required symbol on the platter.

Yuck Mechanic: If a player notices their opponent has rolled a Yuck symbol, they can shout “Yuck!” to force their opponent to reroll all their dice.

Chop Mechanic: If both dueling players have a Yuck symbol at the same time, a spectator can shout “Chop!” to end the duel immediately.

Game Objective: The first player to complete the required number of platters (6 for 2 players, 5 for 3-4 players, and 4 for 5-6 players) wins the game.
