The Stratego Card Game is a variation of the classic board game, Stratego, which was first published in in 2012. The card game version was released in 2012 and is designed for 2 players. It retains many of the same elements as the original game, including strategy, bluffing, and deduction.

How To Setup Stratego
Players start by secretly arranging their 40 pieces (or 30) on their side of the board in a 4×10 configuration. The pieces are placed so that the ranks are hidden from the opponent. Players cannot place pieces in the lakes or the 12 central squares on the board.
Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective
– Pieces move one space vertically or horizontally, except for the Scout which can move any number of spaces in a straight line.
– Pieces cannot move onto a space occupied by another piece of the same color unless attacking.
– Special rules apply for certain pieces:
– The Spy can capture the Marshal.
– The Miner can defuse a Bomb.
– The Bomb can eliminate any attacking piece except the Miner.
