Railroad Barons (2010) Board Game

Railroad Barons is a card game designed by Helmut Ohley and published by Lookout Games in in 2010. The game is set during the golden age of railroads in the United States, where players take on the role of railroad barons competing to build the most profitable rail network.

    How To Setup Railroad Barons

    To set up the game, place the Share Value track and the 5 private Investors on the table. Each player receives $200 from the bank and one Overview card. The Stock certificates are placed next to the Share Value track and are considered owned by the bank at the start. The Railroad Corporations are sorted alphabetically by category and also start out owned by the bank. Players select Investors, with each player choosing an Investor and either taking the cash value or the Investor card. The remaining Investor is removed from the game, and both players receive its face value in cash. The player with the Priority Deal starts the first Stock Round.
