How To Setup Port Royal

To set up Port Royal, shuffle the entire deck and deal 3 cards to each player with the coin side face up, which will be used as money. For a 5-player game, remove the expedition card showing 5 hats on the back and place it to the side. The remaining deck is placed in the center of the table, and a start player is selected.

Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective

Discover Phase: The current player draws cards from the deck and places them in the Harbor until they choose to stop or draw two ships of the same color, which ends their turn.
