    How To Setup Planted: A Game of Nature & Nurture

    To set up the game, position the nursery board in the center of the table. Place the Resource tokens in separate piles near the nursery board. Each player takes a player board and places it within reach. Shuffle the Resource cards and place them in the designated area on the nursery board. Shuffle the Tool and Decoration cards together and place them on their designated spot. Each player randomly selects a starter plant, and the remaining starter plants are removed from play. Lay out a community of four plant cards on the nursery board. Distribute six Resource cards and two Tool/Decoration cards to each player. This completes the setup.
