How To Setup Megastar
To set up Megastar, the number of players dictates the number of bands and cards used. For 2 players, use 5 bands and remove 15 cards from the band deck without showing them to the players. For 3 players, use 6 bands and remove 10 cards. For 4 and 5 players, use all the bands and remove 5 and 3 cards respectively. Players shuffle the hit parade deck and lay out the cards in a vertical row. The band deck is shuffled, and the top 11 cards are revealed and placed next to the corresponding hit parade cards. Each player is dealt 5 cards and must choose one to play in the first round, placing it face down. The player with the largest CD collection goes first.
