Kardashev Scale (2022) Board Game

The Kardashev Scale is a theoretical framework proposed by the Russian astrophysicist Nikolai Kardashev in 1964 to measure a civilization’s level of technological advancement based on the amount of energy it is able to use. This concept has since been popularized in science fiction and serves as the inspiration for the Kardashev Scale board game.

Game Components of Kardashev Scale

    How To Setup Kardashev Scale

To set up the game, each player chooses an alien civilization dial and places it in front of them. The advancement cards are sorted by type (Planetary, Stellar, Galactic) and arranged in a pyramid shape on the table. The resource tokens are sorted and placed near the advancement cards. The youngest player receives the starting token.
