    How To Setup Jump Gate

    To set up the game, place the Jump Gate and the Black Hole boards in the middle of the table. Randomly select 8 of the 12 Planet boards and arrange them in a circle around the central boards. Shuffle the Resource and NavComp decks, dealing each player 1 Resource card face-up (redrawing if it’s a “Famous Find” or “Nothing”) and 5 NavComp cards face-down. Each player receives a Spaceship and Marker chips of the same color, placing their Spaceships on the Jump Gate board. Deal 1 face-up Resource card to each of the 8 planets and the rest face-down. Determine the starting player and begin the game.
