How To Setup Jamaica
To set up Jamaica, players start by randomly selecting 9 out of 12 treasure cards, shuffling them, and placing them in the middle of the board. Each pirate lair around the board receives a treasure token. Players place their ship tokens at the starting space, shuffle their deck of action cards, and draw three cards. Each player also receives three treasures and three food tokens, which are placed in their ship’s holds. A random player is chosen to be the starting captain and receives the start player Compass and Dice.
