Place the game board in the middle of the table.Each player chooses a color and takes the corresponding marker, pond, and goal token.Place the fish tokens and cards in a pile next to the board.

Gameplay Mechanics of Hey, That’s My Fish!

On your turn, you can either take a card or feed your pond. If you choose to take a card, draw a card and place it in front of you. If you choose to feed your pond, use the feeding rod to place one fish token in your pond. If you can’t place the fish token, explain why not, and the next player may take the feeding rod. The game proceeds in a clockwise order.
