How To Setup Herbalism
To set up Herbalism, shuffle the ingredient cards and place two under the “Cure” Action Card. Lay out the remaining Medicine Cards. Each player receives a Pharmacist Marker and a Cure Marker in their chosen color. For the Advanced Variant, set out the Prediction Markers. Distribute the Action and Start Markers, and set aside the Victory Point Markers.
Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective
Player Movement: Move the pharmacist token to any medicine card, which cannot be the same as the previous turn.Actions: Choose one of five actions based on the medicine card:Inquiring: Give an opponent a card and they announce how many cards of the other color they have.Brewing: Receive one or two cards of specific colors from an opponent.Curing: End the round by guessing the two cards under the Cure card.Guessing: Other players can place their Cure markers to agree or disagree with the guess.Objective: Be the first to correctly guess the cure to earn the title of “God Farmer.”
