Rules/Instructions

How To Setup Ghosted

To set up the game, each player takes an evidence board and a dry erase marker. The Suspect, Motive, and Weapon cards are separated into their respective decks and shuffled. Each player is dealt one card from each deck, which they place face down on their evidence board so that other players can see them but the player cannot. The remaining cards are shuffled together and distributed evenly among the players. Players mark off on their boards the suspects, weapons, and motives they have in their hands and those visible on other players’ boards.

Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective

Objective: Each player must determine their own killer, the motive, and the weapon used by deducing from shared information.

Rolling the Die: Players roll a six-sided die with symbols for different actions: Yes or No Question, Guess 2 Suspects, Guess 2 Weapons, Guess 2 Motives, Scales of Justice, and Wild.

Yes or No Question: Ask another player a yes or no question about their cards.

Guess 2 Suspects/Weapons/Motives: Guess two cards in a specific category; the other player reveals one card if it matches.

Scales of Justice: Guess one suspect, one motive, and one weapon; other players reveal how many are correct.

Wild: Choose any of the other actions.

Accusation: Players can make a final accusation of their suspect, motive, and weapon; correct answers win the game, while incorrect ones eliminate the player.

Ghost Tokens: Players receive a token if they roll an action for a category they have already solved, which can be used as a wild in future turns.
