How To Setup FrogFlip
To set up the game, place the four Lily Pad cards equally spaced apart on the playing surface between the two players, forming a straight line. Shuffle the 8 Bug Score cards and place them flower-side-down within easy reach of both players. Determine who will go first and hand them the Frog Disc.
Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective
– If the Frog Disc touches the target Lily Pad card, the player collects the Bug Score card and places it in front of them. If the disc stays on the card, it is placed flower-face-up; otherwise, it is placed flower-face-down.
– If the Frog Disc goes off the table, the opponent gets two turns in a row.
Player Experience
FrogFlip is an enjoyable and quick game that levels the playing field between children and adults. The flipping mechanic requires skill but also involves a significant amount of luck, making it competitive and fun for all ages. It is particularly suited for young children, as it teaches them how to flip a coin and promotes healthy competition. However, older children may lose interest as they seek more complex games.
