How To Setup Four Corners
To set up Four Corners, start by assembling the Tip-Pivot game board by inserting the tab into the slot located on adjoining sides of each board quadrant. Place the assembled game board in the center of the table. Shuffle the goal cards and deal three to each player, who should keep their goals secret. Each player draws three puzzle tiles to form their hand. If a player draws more than one special tile, they must discard one and draw replacements. The last person to have looked through a telescope (in the Galaxy theme) or a kaleidoscope (in the Kaleidoscope theme) goes first.
Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective
– Play a puzzle tile from your hand, ensuring it matches a neighboring tile.
– Rotate exactly two puzzle tiles on the board by 90 degrees.
– Exchange the positions of two puzzle tiles on the board.
– Draw a new goal card and discard one from your hand.
– Create a sequence of four identical center images in a row (Iconic Sequence).
– Complete an image across four tile corners (Matching Four Corners Image).
Player Experience
Four Corners is a quick, fun, and captivating game where each player has unique goals. The game is simple to learn but requires strategic thinking to manipulate the board effectively. Players must adjust their plans as the board state changes with each turn, making it a game that balances strategy and luck. The unique board design allows tiles to rotate and move without affecting neighboring tiles, adding a dynamic layer to the gameplay.
