Player Experience
In Dungeon Heroes, the gameplay is divided into two phases: the passive phase and the aggressive phase. During the passive phase, the Dungeon Lord places tiles and plans the dungeon layout. In the aggressive phase, monsters revealed on the board attack the Heroes, and the Dungeon Lord takes actions to hinder the Heroes’ progress. Each Hero has unique abilities: the Warrior slays monsters, the Wizard reveals tiles, the Cleric heals, and the Rogue disarms traps. The game requires strategic planning and optimal use of actions to overcome the challenges posed by the Dungeon Lord.

Personal Thoughts on Dungeon Heroes
Dungeon Heroes is ideal for players who enjoy strategic, asymmetric gameplay and are looking for a quick yet challenging dungeon crawl experience. It is particularly suited for those who appreciate tile placement and action management mechanics. However, it may not be the best fit for players seeking a more balanced or traditional dungeon crawl experience, as the game leans heavily in favor of the Dungeon Lord. Despite its challenges, it offers a unique blend of strategy and roguelike elements that can be quite engaging for the right audience.
