Game Components of Coppit

Board4 conical, hat-shaped playing pieces per player (all the same color)Die

Game Setup of Coppit

Each player chooses a color and places their four playing pieces in their home ‘base’. The board is placed in the center of the table, and the die is rolled to determine the starting player.

Gameplay Mechanics of Coppit

Players take turns rolling the die and moving their pieces around the board. The objective is to move out of your base, capture your opponent’s pieces by landing on top of them, carry them back to your base, and ‘imprison’ them there. A player can have any number of pieces out of their base at any time, but other players may capture a piece while it is being moved back to base. The game ends when one player has no uncaptured pieces, and that player is declared the winner.

Game Objective of Coppit

The goal of Coppit is to capture your opponent’s pieces, carry them back to your base, and imprison them there, while trying to protect your own pieces from being captured.
