How To Setup Chickapig

To set up Chickapig, place the gameboard in the middle of the playing area. Each player’s Chickapigs are positioned on their assigned starter squares, indicated by colored dots. Hay bales are placed one square up from the two Chickapigs closest to the goal for each player. The cow is positioned in the middle, surrounded by a fence. Players roll the die to determine who goes first, with the highest roll starting the game. The poop tokens and cards are placed to the side of the board.

The Cow: Can be moved by any player; rolling a 1 allows the cow to move anywhere and poop. The poop stays in place until a Chickapig or hay bale moves through it, triggering a Poop Card draw.

Daisy Cards: Players can choose to take a Daisy Card instead of using a 2-move roll. Daisy Cards have positive effects and can be used at any point during the game.

Blocking: Players can block opponents’ goals using Chickapigs, hay bales, and the cow, but must ensure there is always at least one way into the goal for every player.
