How To Setup Arrogance

To set up the game, shuffle the deck of cards and place them face down on the table along with the spinner, sand timer, and Challenge Bell. If there are more than 6 players, divide them into teams. Distribute the 90 Arrogance tokens among the players or teams, and give each player or team a PASS and CHALLENGE token. Decide on the number of rounds to play, with each round involving every player using the spinner.

Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective

Player Turn: The first player spins the spinner, which lands on either EASY or HARD, and draws a card to see the topic without showing it to others.

Arrogance Tokens: The player places a number of Arrogance tokens representing how many answers they think they can list.

Passing: If a player feels pressured, they can place their PASS token along with one Arrogance token, but they cannot ring the Challenge Bell or win tokens until the next topic.

Challenging: Other players can ring the Challenge Bell to challenge the current player, forcing them to list answers within the time limit.

Winning Tokens: If the challenged player succeeds, they win all the Arrogance tokens from the center and additional tokens from the challenger and those who passed. If they fail, the challenger wins the tokens.

Game Objective: The player with the most Arrogance tokens after the agreed number of rounds wins. If a player runs out of tokens, they are out of the game.
