Zamma
Zamma is a two-player abstract strategy game from Africa, particularly popular in Mauritania. It is believed to be the precursor of the Alquerque board pattern and has been documented since at least the twentieth century. The game is played on a square board, and the objective is to capture the opponent’s pieces.
