Distribute the Action cards to the respective leaders: 5 to Fritigern, 4 to Alatheus, 3 to Saphrax for the Goths, and 5 to Valens and 4 to Richomers for the Romans. Place the rest of the cards face down next to their respective players. Set up the Roman garrison tiles and Gothic enrollment tile markers according to the starting parameters on the leader boards.

Player Experience
Gothic Invasion offers a balanced blend of strategy and luck, making it accessible yet challenging. The game is easy to teach and understand, with clear instructions on the cards. However, the depth of gameplay emerges as players adapt to the changing circumstances and card draws.
