How To Setup Ice Team

To set up the game, players start by placing the Start and Arrival Village boards on the table. The 4 Course boards are then arranged between these two boards, creating the racing track. Each middle board has 2 igloos with fish tokens on them, and Sea Ice tiles are placed on the other spaces. Each player places their 4 bear figurines on the Start tile.

Gameplay Mechanics and Game Objective

Player Actions: Each player takes two actions per turn, which can be moving a bear, leaping over another bear (Leapbear), or swimming across empty sea spaces.

Tile Effects: Landing on an igloo allows a player to collect a fish token and roll the Fish die for additional fish or to steal fish from the opponent.

Special Tiles: Some tiles have paw prints, allowing an extra action but then removing the tile from the game. Penguin tiles let players freeze fish to protect them from being stolen. Shifting tiles can either push tiles or let bears surf through contiguous empty spaces.

Finish Line: The game ends when one player gets all 4 bears to the Finish tile. The player with the most fish wins, with ties broken in favor of the player who first got all bears to the finish line.
