How To Setup Coral
Players start by picking a coral species and receiving the corresponding pawns and blocks. The rock is placed in the middle of the table. Blocks are distributed based on player count: 2 players get six blocks of their own species and three neutral blocks, 3 players get six blocks of their own and two neutral blocks, and 4 players get four blocks of their own and one block from each of the two players to their left and right. Players then take turns placing blocks to cover the rock, ensuring at least one face of the block touches the rock and one icon touches the table.

Personal Thoughts on Coral
Coral is an excellent choice for those who enjoy abstract strategy games with a relaxed and visually pleasing atmosphere. It’s suitable for families and casual gamers due to its simple rules and short gameplay duration. However, for players seeking deep strategic complexity, Coral might not offer enough depth. The game’s unique solo mode and varying multiplayer dynamics make it a versatile addition to any board game collection.
