How To Setup Raiders of the North Sea
To set up the game, place the game board on the table and fill the cloth bag with resource bits like iron, livestock, Valkyrie, and gold. Randomly populate the raiding locations with these resources. Each location will also have a specific colored worker placed on it. Each player receives one black worker, 3 Score markers, 2 silver, and 1 Ship card in their chosen color. The Offering tiles are shuffled and placed face down next to the board, with three drawn and placed face up on their locations. Players are dealt 5 Townsfolk cards, keeping 3 and discarding the rest. The game is ready to start after determining the starting player by rolling the supplied dice.
