    How To Setup Little Tavern

    To set up the game, each player starts with an empty table. The deck of cards is placed in the center of the table. The game is ready to begin once all players have their tables and the deck is within reach.

  • Draw Cards: On your turn, draw a card from the center of the table, which can be either a Character or an Event.
  • Place Characters: If you draw a Character, reveal it and place it at your Table or an opponent’s Table.
  • Apply Events: If you draw an Event, read the effect out loud and apply it, then discard the card.
  • Round End: A round ends once each Table has 4 Characters. Count the tips from your 4 Characters and take your coins from the bank.
  • Game Objective: The game ends if a player has at least 25 coins. The player with the most coins wins.
