How To Setup Snapshot
To set up Snapshot, start by punching out the parts from the frame and assembling the playing arena. This involves attaching side panels, corner brackets, and folding up the middle insert. Place the gems and bonus cubes in the blue box in the middle of the arena, which serves as both an obstacle and a storage container. The wall stick is positioned so one end touches a side wall. Distribute the square obstacles on the board, ensuring they are not on Action Fields initially. Each player takes a disc and places non-player discs as additional obstacles and targets on the board. Players receive 8 Task Cards matching the color of their disc, shuffle them, and place them face down in their area. The youngest player places their disc on the Start Field arrow to begin.

Personal Thoughts on Snapshot
Snapshot is ideal for families and casual gamers who enjoy quick, interactive games. It is a great option for those looking for a game that combines physical skill with strategic planning. However, players seeking games with more complex strategies or those who prefer games with less reliance on luck might find Snapshot less appealing. Despite this, its nomination for the Kinderspiel des Jahres 2010 underscores its appeal as a fun and engaging game for a wide range of players.
