Shuffle the Ocean Pods deck to create the draw deck and lay out six cards to generate the research pool. Place the ocean cards in any order down the side from top to bottom and position the boat at the start. Shuffle the “Research Objectives” and deal one to each player, keeping them secret. Finally, place the dice within reach of all players.
