The game is set in the fictional world of RuneWars, which is also the setting for several other titles designed by Mori. Ludeme was successfully Kickstarted in October 2019, raising over €160,000. The game was officially released in September 2020.

Game Setup of Ludeme

1. Shuffle the Faction cards and place them face down in a draw pile.2. Each player is dealt a hand of 5 cards.3. Place the Resource tokens, Power tokens, Honor tokens, and Gear tokens within reach of all players.4. Determine a starting player and place the First Player token in front of them.5. Begin the first round.

Gameplay Mechanics of Ludeme

Ludeme is a turn-based game where players take turns to perform actions, which include:
– Playing Faction cards from their hand to gain resources, power, honor, or gear
– Using resources to acquire new Faction cards
– Playing Gear cards to gain additional actions or benefits
– Selling goods to the market to gain honor
