Mighty Empires (1990)

Mighty Empires

“Mighty Empires” is a board game published by Games Workshop in 1990, designed to add a strategic layer to Warhammer Fantasy Battle. The game was created by Rick Priestley and Nigel Stillman, and it was intended to give rise to campaigns where the results of one battle would affect later battles. Although the game included simple point-based rules for players who did not have Warhammer Fantasy Battle or were unwilling to play out each battle, it was primarily aimed at adding a strategic layer to the existing Warhammer Fantasy Battle system.
